Lugarti® HabiSeal™ is a flexible waterproofing membrane engineered for habitat construction. Designed to seal wooden enclosures, foam structures, and other habitat-building materials, it cures into a durable, elastomeric barrier that resists moisture intrusion while remaining flexible over time.

While wet, Lugarti® TerraTextures™ can also be embedded directly into the coating to create naturalistic shorelines, waterfalls, rivulets, drip walls, and other water features.

Once fully cured, HabiSeal™ is inert, odorless, and suitable for reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and live plants.

HabiSeal’s™ neutral base provides complete color control when tinted with Lugarti® TerraTint™ prior to application, allowing custom finishes ranging from subtle natural tones to richly detailed habitat environments.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Prepare: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust, oils, waxes, and loose debris.

Mix: Stir thoroughly before use. Do not dilute. Lugarti® TerraTint™ may be added to achieve the desired color.

Apply: Apply a uniform 1/16 in. (1.6 mm) coat using a brush or roller. For added detail, embed Lugarti® TerraTextures™ may be embedded into the coating while wet.

Dry: Allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next coat.*

Recoat: Apply 2–3 total coats for maximum waterproofing performance.

Cure: Allow to cure for 3–4 days, or until no longer tacky, before introducing water, habitat décor, or animals. Cure times vary depending on temperature, humidity, and coating thickness.*

Storage: Keep container tightly sealed when not in use. Store at room temperature. Protect from freezing.

*Dry and cure times are based on typical indoor conditions (70°F / 21°C, moderate humidity). Environmental conditions, including temperature and humidity, may affect drying and curing times.
